Thor is proud to announce the addition of the Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha Team for the 2016 race season.
The team has an incredibly talented roster including 2015 AMA 250 West Supercross Champion Cooper Webb, 2015 AMA 250 Motocross Champion Jeremy Martin, race winner Aaron Plessinger, the always consistent Alex Martin, and introducing the promising rookie Mitchell Harrison.
“Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha is aiming high for the 2016 season. We are pleased to be working with Thor and confident that our collaboration with them will lead to great success.” said team manager Brad Hoffman.
The Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha Team looks to be a very serious nationwide threat with racers competing in both the East and West coasts in the AMA Supercross series and then heading outdoors to defend their AMA 250 Motorcross Title.
“Signing the Yamalube Star Racing Team is an exciting new change for us,” said Thor MX. “They are a young talented team that has become a powerhouse in the 250 class, winning two titles last season. We can’t wait to see what this team has in store for the upcoming seasons, and we’re excited to be involved.”
The Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha Team will make their Thor MX debut in Italy, at the Genoa Supercross on November 7th.
The third round of the 2014 Kenda AMA National Enduro Series was the Rad Dad Enduro in Westpoint, Tennessee.
Thor elite rider Charlie Mullins struggled with some braking issues in the early tests, but charged hard in the coming rounds to take the overall finish by over 25 seconds.
This marked his third straight win of the season, proving he’s the man to beat in this year’s Enduro circuit.
The clay was red and the whoops were gnarly… 2014 Atlanta Supercross proved to be an awesome round of racing.
Villopoto rode the Georgia clay like the champ he is, and walked away with a second place finish, retaining the red plate.
Martin Davalos proves that he belongs up front this year with his first ever 250 Supercross win. Congrats MD.
Adam Cianciarulo struggled with the two whoop sections during the heat races, but regrouped in the Main Event with a runner up finish. He’ll remain the points leader going into Indianapolis.
