Joey Savatgy Places Third in Budds Creek mudder Race

Joey Savatgy battled through the mud to a podium finish this weekend at Budds Creek.  The rain held off for the majority of the first motos, but by mid-day the skies opened up and a brutal downpour delayed the event by 2 hours.  When racing commenced again the conditions were treacherous and claimed many riders, but not Savatgy.  Savatgy kept cool and consistent in both motos and finished 4-3 for an overall third place for the weekend.  The next series event picks up at Redbud on July 4th.

Jason Anderson Podiums at High Point

Jason Anderson scored his third podium of his rookie outdoor season at High Point this weekend. Anderson rode a smart and steady first moto to fourth place with little trouble. In the second moto Anderson charged hard to a third place finish, which sealed the deal for third place overall on the weekend.  The MX National series picks up again June 27 at Budd’s Creek.

Anderson Podiums in Tennessee

Jason Anderson rode his Husqvarna 450 to another third place finish this weekend at the Tennessee outdoor nationals. Anderson started the first moto in second place and after a few skirmishes, he secured the position at the checkered flag. In the second moto, Anderson started in the back of the pack and battled his way to a fourth place finish, which was good for a podium spot in the overall standings. Next weekend’s outdoor national takes place in Pennsylvania.

Adam Cianciarulo gets Back on Track at Thunder Valley MX

Adam Cianciarulo made his way to the podium for the first time this season with consistent, strong riding and smart passes on his rivals. On a track that claimed many riders, Cianciarulo kept it steady and upright for an easy fifth place finish in the first moto. In the second moto Cianciarulo battled nearly the entire race with Jordan Smith. On the last lap Cianciarulo made his move on Smith and sprinted to a fourth place finish, enough for third overall. The series picks up again next weekend in Blountville, TN.
