Tyler Bowers is firmly in the championship chase, taking a second place finish at Anaheim 2 and earning valuable championship points. Bowers ran a smooth race, where he grabbed a solid start and methodically moved his way forward through the pack to take the lead. He was edged out of the top spot in the final corners of the race, but remains third in points with lots of racing left in the series.
Jason Anderson had an impressive 450 class rookie debut and finished second at the Supercross season opener in Anaheim. Anderson had an excellent night of racing by advancing early on from his first heat race to the main. He then pulled a top five start in the main event and steadily raced his way to second place. Jason maintained the position and put Husqvarna on the podium for the first time in 39 years!
