Thor 250 riders finish strong at Washougal

It was a great weekend for Thor 250 riders at Washougal, with Musquin and Baggett taking the top two spots of the podium.

Marvin Musquin was on fire this weekend at Washougal Motocross Park, leading qualifying with the fastest times and sweeping both moto wins of the weekend.

Blake Baggett had a solid weekend wrapping up an overall second place finish and gaining valuable Championship points.  Blake is third overall in points and continues to chip away race by race.

Baggett wins Budds

Despite having to come from behind in both motos, Blake Baggett grabbed 3rd in the first moto, and 1st in the second moto at Budds Creek. Good enough for the overall win, and keeping his title hopes alive in a very interesting championship chase.

Baggett Gains Championship Points

Blake rode well at Muddy Creek, TN with 1-3 moto finishes, good enough for second overall on the day and making up valuable series points.

Baggett made an incredible last lap pass on the face of the finish line jump to win the first moto. A crash in the second moto kept him from the top spot, but still on the podium.

St. Louis & MXGP Racing Results

RV carried a large lead into St. Louis and left with an even larger points differential after Dungey went down on the last lap. Martin rode strong up front and held off challenges to win again, increasing his lead to 8pts. with 3 races to go…

Villopoto was fast and rode a smart race to take second in the main event.

 

Martin quickly took over the lead in the main, dealt with lappers, and closed strong to win his second race of the year.

 

Blake had to come through the pack, but when the checkers waved he was on the podium in third.

 

Arnaud Tonus took over the red plate in Brazil with the overall in the MX2 GP class.
