Joey Savatgy battled through the mud to a podium finish this weekend at Budds Creek. When racing commenced again the conditions were treacherous and claimed many riders, but not Savatgy. Savatgy kept cool and consistent in both motos and finished 4-3 for an overall third place for the weekend. The next series event picks up at Redbud on July 4th.
Jason Anderson scored his third podium of his rookie outdoor season at High Point this weekend. Anderson rode a smart and steady first moto to fourth place with little trouble. In the second moto Anderson charged hard to a third place finish, which sealed the deal for third place overall on the weekend. The MX National series picks up again June 27 at Budd’s Creek.
Jason Anderson rode his Husqvarna 450 to another third place finish this weekend at the Tennessee outdoor nationals. Anderson started the first moto in second place and after a few skirmishes, he secured the position at the checkered flag. In the second moto, Anderson started in the back of the pack and battled his way to a fourth place finish, which was good for a podium spot in the overall standings. Next weekend’s outdoor national takes place in Pennsylvania.
